What You Need To Know About Medication Refill Request

We kindly ask that you take note of the following guidelines regarding refill requests:

  • Pharmacy requests for refills are not accepted; we require direct communication from patients.

  • To ensure timely processing, we request a lead time of 3-4 BUSINESS DAYS for refill requests.

  • Refill requests submitted after 4:00 pm will be addressed on the subsequent business day.

  • Refills submitted on Friday after 3:00 pm, over the weekend, or during holidays will be processed on the next working day.

  • Our providers issue refills to bridge the gap until the patient's next appointment, so please ensure you have a scheduled appointment when submitting a refill request.

  • Partial refills for controlled substances are not permitted and are only available during appointments.

  • We kindly ask patients to accurately provide pharmacy details on the refill request form to minimize delays.

  • Once a refill is transmitted to the pharmacy, it falls under their jurisdiction, and patients are advised to contact their pharmacy and insurance for further guidance.

  • Please be aware that the provider reserves the right to deny any refill request.
